Navrang Dance  Academy

  Navrang Dance was founded with an individual passion for Dance and Drama, Varsha Naik, the founder of NDA, was an outlet for people to express themselves and find their individuality. This dream blossomed into reality in 2010 and the dance academy has never looked back. Each year it continues to build upon its success and brings out innovative, creative dance performances. Participating in prestigious shows such as, Naya Andaz, Naach Revolution, Dance Pe Chance, Zalak.

Navrang Dance Academy (NDA) is an established Dance academy in New Jersey since 2010. With hard work and dedication, we created a different definition of Dance. Our Biggest achievement is choreography and directing Musical Dance drama “Ramleela” performed for Indo-American Festivals, Inc. Grand Dushahra Festival celebrated in 2013 which was attended by approx. TEN Thousands community audience. Among various other recognitions, we recently won ‘Public Choice Award’ at the NJ’s biggest dance competition ‘Naya Andaz 2014’.NDA was also a part of the Taste of Asia event at Times Square, NYC. We also represented Indian Culture in Lions International festival in Rutgers University being the world’s largest community service organization, and also took part in Fundraiser event of Philippines relief fund. Our performances are dedicated to various dance techniques of Bollywood with touch of Indian classical dance style.

Navrang Dance Academy is actively involved not only in dancing but also in dance dramas such as musical plays. NDA has participated in many cultural dance camps and workshops with heritage and non-heritage groups. NDA is proud to be a part of the India Day Parade, held in New York City for the last two years. Navrang Dance Academy represents Indian American mixed culture with the latest Bollywood style. The academy continues to grow and invites everyone to join and experience the colorful dance journey.
